GLOBAL CHEMICAL COMPLIANCE SUPPORT

What We Support Across International Chemical Markets

We support companies with market-specific registration, notification and compliance requirements for chemical substances and products across multiple jurisdictions.

01 Regulatory Market & Scope Assessment

We assess the applicable chemical regulations, company roles and market-entry obligations for substances and products supplied across different jurisdictions.
We develop practical registration and notification strategies that reflect the regulatory requirements, available data and commercial priorities of each target market.
We review substance inventories, existing registrations and available regulatory records to determine whether additional actions are required before market entry.
We coordinate the technical and scientific information required for international submissions and help align existing data with market-specific dossier formats and expectations.
We support the coordination of locally established representatives, importers and other responsible legal entities where market access depends on local regulatory representation.
We support the adaptation of classification, labelling and safety data sheet information to the regulatory and language requirements of the relevant market.
We support ongoing compliance after market entry by reviewing regulatory changes, new information and business developments that may affect existing registrations or notifications.
We coordinate chemical compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions to reduce duplication, identify regulatory differences and maintain a consistent global data foundation.

When Global Chemical Compliance Support Becomes Essential

International compliance becomes particularly complex when companies enter new markets, manage different national requirements or expand an existing product portfolio across several jurisdictions.

Entering a New Market

Assessment of registration, notification, representation and hazard communication requirements before substances or products are introduced into a new jurisdiction.

Expanding Across Multiple Jurisdictions

Coordination of shared substance data, dossiers, classifications and timelines while addressing the specific requirements of each target market.

Responding to Regulatory Change

Review and adaptation of existing registrations, notifications and product documentation when national requirements, substance status or regulatory expectations change.

Common Questions About Global Chemical Compliance

Answers to common questions about international registrations, chemical inventories, local representatives, data requirements and multi-market compliance.

Which chemical regulations apply when entering a new market?

The applicable requirements depend on the target country, company role, substance or product type, annual volume and intended use. A market assessment may need to consider registration, notification, inventory status, classification, safety data sheets, restrictions and local representation requirements.
No. An EU REACH registration does not automatically satisfy the requirements of UK REACH, Türkiye KKDIK, South Korea K-REACH, China or other national systems. Existing EU data may support another submission, but the company role, format, deadlines and local requirements must be assessed separately. EU and UK REACH are already separate registration systems.
The substance identity should be checked against the relevant national inventory, registration database or authority records. A listing alone does not always confirm that a particular company, importer or supply chain is covered, so company-specific obligations may still require assessment.
Often yes. Existing study reports, substance identity information, classifications and regulatory assessments may support submissions in several jurisdictions. However, data ownership, access rights, accepted test methods, local formats and market-specific information requirements must be reviewed before reuse.
Not in every market. Some jurisdictions permit or require a locally established representative, while others place the obligations directly on the importer or another domestic legal entity. The available representation model and the responsibilities of each party must therefore be confirmed separately for every country.
No. Thresholds, deadlines, substance categories and required information differ significantly between regulatory systems. Even closely related frameworks can apply different transitional provisions, submission routes or data expectations. Under EU REACH, for example, registration generally applies from one tonne per year per manufacturer or importer, while other markets must be assessed under their own rules.
Usually yes. A safety data sheet may require adaptation to the local language, classification system, mandatory format, occupational exposure limits, emergency information and other national requirements. A direct translation of an existing SDS may therefore be insufficient.
Multi-market compliance can be managed through a central substance-data foundation combined with country-specific assessments, responsibilities and timelines. This helps identify reusable information while keeping local registrations, notifications, representatives, safety data sheets and regulatory updates clearly separated.
